ATTN All Distributors,
We would like to provide a series of updates in regards to our reality as a manufacturer in the current times in the United States. Please keep in mind the following information:
- Product demand is at an all-time high. Empty store shelves and increased prices from suppliers are a constant, not just in the pet food industry, but for the food industry as a whole.
- Extreme trucking crisis affects both domestic and international distribution for pet food products, which leads to overstocked warehouses and delayed shipments. Our Chickasha, Oklahoma facility is nearing completion of a new 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse, but until then we are still working within our own limitations.
- There are frequent and lengthy delays created by the carriers that are out of our control. This creates many last-minute changes to sail and arrival dates. We do our best to move shipments as efficiently as possible.
- Temper expectations on an improved supply chain. We are hoping that with the end of covid-related restrictions we can see improvements along the supply chain, but until then we expect these trucking and shipping carrier delays to continue.
